Between February 1st and 2nd Imbolc is celebrated in the northern hemisphere, one of the main Celtic festivities. It is a bridge between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It is related to fertility and Celtic goddess Brigid and marks the awakening of nature.

Brigid is known as the goddess of spring. Dressed in white and with red hair, she brings light, the flame of creativity and, with her green cloak, she touches the earth to awaken the seeds.

She is connected to the essential oils of cinnamon and tulsi (with which this doll is impregnated), the nettle plant, the hazelnut tree and the carnelian stone.

Her symbol is the cross (a symbol of protection).

Brigid message:

"I Am the one who brings to the world the light that will illuminate the months to come.

I Am the one who advances the time for the Earth to find its new rhythm.

I Am this one who is here today, present on the planet, to bring the news of clarity, warmth and awakenings.

I Am this one who transforms the climate. In these times to come the weather will soften so that plants and animals can make up for lost time during the colder months.

I bring the Light.

I bring the Fire.

I bring the excitement of new beginnings.

I bring the joy of this time that will be warm and will require all to awaken.

I bring the fine rain that awakens those who were hibernating.

I bring the whisper of the wind that awakens the sleeping.

I bring the present time to this winter that seemed infinite.

I bring the Light.

I bring the breeze.

I bring the return of the Sun.

I bring this and accompany those who are to return.

I will wait for all this to be done and I will take my way back to my home.

I remain there always when my services are not required. There I continue my work, but from a distance.

I dwell at this moment in the depths of the caves.

I awaken, as do the animals and plants, when the time requires it.

I return to the world to do my work and return home when my work is done.

Just as I have different functions, so do you humans. You are used to work without rest during all the months of the year, but this is not the right rhythm you should follow.

There is time to work.

There is time to rest.

There is time to reflect.

There is time to enjoy.

All this must be present in your life.

All this in its right measure.

Do not relax when it is time to work, but do not continue to work when it is time to rest and enjoy life.
